Marathon Animal Welfare Society is not subsidized by the Greek State.
The Society’s sole funds are generated by the subscriptions, the donations, and the sponsorships by our members and friends of the Society and the profits by the bazaars that we organize.

If you wish to offer any amount of money or any other form of donation please read below or email us. Your donations and sponsorships are used in the most suitable manner in order to offer the most effective help to stray animals in the area.
More specifically, with your help we could continue our mission to neuter stray animals, to cover the surgeries of injured animals and the expenses for medications and treatments. Also, we always need ampules and pills for de-worming as well as food and any other items (for example cat litter) for the animals that we foster.
Finally, we would be in the pleasant position to offer services for the treatment and fostering of a larger number of stray animals, to perform on a daily basis rescue operations of animals in need, campaigns for public awareness, educational programs at schools, private or public, so as to develop a strong awareness of loving animals, multiple events all over Greece for the education of the public and the responsible treatment of defenseless animals.
